Mercury Awards

The Mercury Awards Program is hosted by the Greater Connecticut Chapter of PRSA, which serves the Central and Southern Connecticut communities. Westchester/Fairfield Chapter Chapter members have entered - and won! - Mercury Awards competitions in past years, and are eligible to continue to do so.

Information on the competition and its annual awards dinner event is available at https://www.prsact.org. The 2017 Call for Entries closed on August 23, and the awards dinner will be held on September 21 at the Water's Edge Resort in Westbrook.

Mercury Awards 2015: And the winners are...

Congratulations to our Chapter's member-agencies Co-Communications (Mt.Kisco NY/Farmington CT) and Robin Leedy & Associates (Mt. Kisco NY) for their wins at the 2015 Mercury Awards event on June 17 in Hartford.

Co-Communications won Best in Show for its Integrated Communications work for Grace Smith House and Robin Leedy & Associates won a Gold in Social Media Marketing for its campaign for Cystex. Well done!

About the PRSA Mercury Awards

The PRSA Mercury Awards was created in 1996 by the Connecticut Valley Chapter and is open to members of all three Connecticut-based PRSA Chapters. The program recognizes outstanding work in the public relations, communications and marketing professions and is designed to honor creative and strategic excellence and to encourage outstanding performance in our field. The program also recognizes one individual as Practitioner of the Year, honoring a PRSA member who has significantly served the profession through a history of achievement, experience and reputation.

Connecticut Valley (prsa-cvc.org): Central, Northern and Eastern Connecticut, as well as Western Massachusetts.
Southern Connecticut (prsact.org): New Haven region and eastern Connecticut.
Westchester/Fairfield (prsa-wf.org): Westchester and Fairfield counties, Lower Hudson Valley region.

The competition is also open to non-PRSA members, at non-discounted entry fee levels.
