S.M. Harwood Consulting provides help ranging from assessment, problem-solving, and programs to hands-on tactics and project management. Stephanie Harwood is accredited and has more than 30 years' experience in agency, non-profit and corporate settings, including leadership positions in the national headquarters of Porter Novelli and The March of Dimes, and agency work with Georgia-Pacific, Sonoco Products, and other Fortune companies.  S.M. Harwood Consulting clients have included Yale University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Diagnostics, INTERPHEX, Prudential Annuities, Career Gear, and Combe, Inc. Her work for Yale University earned a PRSA Mercury Gold Award.

Stephanie's service to the PRSA-Westchester/Fairfield Chapter has included two terms as Chapter President, in addition to a number of board and committee positions. She is an Accredited (APR) member of PRSA and serves as the WF Chapter's Accreditation Chair and Ethics Officer. She also serves as a judge for the PRSA National Silver Anvil competition, the PRSA-NY Big Apple Awards and the PRSSA Bateman competition.

Her other pro bono work has included terms as Division and State Board Communications Committee Chair for the March of Dimes-Connecticut Chapter, Account Director for the Taproot Foundation, and volunteer work for the Norwalk Community College Foundation's Conversation Partners program.
