The PRSA Westchester/Fairfield Chapter's operations are carried out by several committees made up of one or more volunteer members. Each committee creates an annual plan, sets how it wants to meet (in person, by phone, email or online) and reports on its activities at monthly Board meetings. Committee members are welcome to attend Board meetings, but are not required to do so. Current committees and their members:
| Program & Professional Development |
The Program Committee is responsible for planning and scheduling luncheon programs, workshops, peer groups, etc including setting up speakers and logistics. It also negotiates venue fees. It sets up the 12-month calendar, develops fliers and informs the Publicity Committee. Program ideas are presented and solicited at board meetings. Chairs report to the board. Time involved is 2- 6 hours/month. |
