The PRSA Westchester/Fairfield Chapter's operations are carried out by several committees made up of one or more volunteer members. Each committee creates an annual plan, sets how it wants to meet (in person, by phone, email or online) and reports on its activities at monthly Board meetings. Committee members are welcome to attend Board meetings, but are not required to do so. Current committees and their members:
| Publicity |
The Publicity Committee publicizes monthly luncheon programs, quarterly workshops, Mercury Awards and social events through emailed calendar notices and news releases to a media list kept current by committee. A committee member normally attends the event and is the on-site media contact for event coverage. When O'Dwyer's Newsletter requests, photos are taken and an article submitted to its online publication. Photos are also taken for the chapter's website. Chair reports to board. Time involved per month is 2-5 hours/month.
