            Attend the Public Relations Society of America - Westchester Fairfield Chapter's Peer Group Meeting for Solo Practitioners and Small Firm Owners, Thursday, November 8, at Co-Communications, 4 Red Oak Lane, Suite 109, White Plains, NY 10604 ( {Red Oak Lane is off the 287 service road going west; 80 Red Oak Lane, the end of the lane, is the Renaissance Westchester Hotel; the first building is 1-4}  

           Our Guest-Advisor is Chereese Jervis-Hill who has over two decades of event management and promotion experience, and is accomplished event manager and public relations professional with drive, vision, and fresh ideas. Chereese founded Events To Remember (ETR) in April 2004; ETR is a full-service event management & public relations firm located in Mount Kisco, New York, specializing in conceptualizing, organizing, managing, marketing and publicizing events and experiences for corporate, not-for-profits, municipalities and entrepreneurs to help them tell their story.  

            Chereese credits her success to the corporate experience and knowledge she gained early on in her career, working for Philip Morris, Deutsche Bank and MetLife. Chereese was named a Powerful Women in Westchester County by The Westchester County Business Journal (Westfair Inc.), a Leadership Westchester Alumni (United Way of Westchester & Putnam’s program that contributes to Community Leadership); and one of Westchester’s Rising Stars “Westchester’s 40 under 40” (individuals in Westchester County who are making their mark in their chosen profession at a young age). Chereese was awarded the Spirit of Caring Award by Support Connection, and the Community Women of the Year Award by Hudson Valley Hospital Center.  

            Chereese sits on the Board of Directors for the Brieant Youth Alliance, a non-profit organization devoted to providing unique educational programs to children and teens of diverse ethnic backgrounds and income levels. Chereese focuses on the Youth at Risk program, where she volunteers her time every Wednesday morning discussing conflict resolution with teens at Woodfield Cottage Detention Center. Chereese also sits on the Board of Directors for Westchester County’s African American Advisory Board, serving as the Housing Chair. The African American Advisory Boards role is to develop and recommend effective policies, legislation, and services to eliminate discrimination and improve opportunities for African-Americans and their families living in Westchester County.

            Chereese was raised in the Bronx and attended Fordham University.

            Twelve seats are available at this November 8 Peer meeting. Attendees pay $5 to the Chapter at the meeting. You are registered when you receive confirmation by email. Bring your lunch or buy it from the building's cafeteria. Free parking outdoors. 

            Non-Chapter members considering joining PRSA-WestFair are welcome to attend two Peer Group meetings. Of course, everyone is invited to all our luncheons and professional development events.
